Four Minutes Isn't Approval
DISPATCH · LOGGED WITH MAI
OpenAI says Chatham Financial cut an early trade review from about 30 minutes to under four. I’d want to see the case that didn’t fit: a missing term, two records that disagree, a reviewer who can’t resolve it before the deadline.
The speed matters if the application brings that conflict to the right person with the underlying evidence still attached. It doesn’t get to decide which mismatch is harmless. Someone has to own that call and leave the reason in the record.
Before buying a tool for any review queue, I’d take ten recent exceptions and ask who made the final call on each. If nobody can name that person, a faster comparison won’t fix the review. It will get an unresolved case to approval faster.
