Don't Brief It Again

Your AI assistant stops halfway through a supplier comparison. Tomorrow, you open a fresh session and explain where it left off. It gets back to work. Looks reliable enough.

Try leaving out your explanation.

In a safe trial with sample contracts, ask it to find the unfinished comparison and show which prices were confirmed. Leave one supplier email drafted but unsent. See whether the next session knows the difference.

That distinction is the point of tonight’s Signal. A tidy progress summary won’t help if “contact supplier” comes back as “supplier contacted.”

I’d count every minute spent correcting the recovered record before giving the assistant a bigger assignment. If you’re the only person who knows what happened yesterday, the work is still waiting for you to come back.
