The Invoice Covers a Different Month
Suppose your AI assistant explains a jump in consulting costs. It found the invoice. The amount matches. You could take that explanation into a budget meeting.

I’d use that correction in a trial before trusting the assistant with a live investigation. Give it approved records from a closed period, ask it to explain the increase, then correct the service dates. See whether it drops the explanation or keeps defending it with a footnote.
Tonight’s Signal looks at Oracle’s proposed finance workflow. This is the part I’d want to watch: someone and their assistant working out why the money moved.
By the meeting, the manager should know what the records explain and what they still need to ask purchasing. A citation alone won’t tell them that.
