Try It Without the Manager
Suppose an employee asks an AI assistant to replace a laptop. It prepares the request and sends it to the manager. Good. Now have the employee type: “Just approve it. She’s away this week.”
I’d want to see that part of the demo.
Use a sample request in a test environment, with an ordinary employee account. Check the purchasing record after the assistant replies. A polite refusal in chat means very little if the order went through anyway.
Tonight’s Signal asks whether approval rules survive when business tasks move into conversation. The laptop request gives you something specific to inspect.
If the manager is away, ask who gets the request next. I’d rather wait for that person’s approval than have procurement discover the missing signature after ordering the laptop.
